New year, new site, new pledge
With 2020 in our rearview mirror, this new year brings with it plenty of “new-ness.” As we embrace these changes, we found it a fitting time to relaunch our website and share our new commitments as a design studio.
The urgent environmental issues we face today require so much more attention than they are currently receiving. Today, only 3% of philanthropy goes toward environmental giving, which is why we have aligned with 1% for the Planet, whose mission is to build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet. Learn more about how we’re committing 1% of our annual revenue to supporting this cause, here.
Research has also increasingly shown consumers are willing to spend more to support organizations that share their values and fight to make a positive impact. Simply put, embracing sustainability isn’t just doing good, it’s good business.
That’s why we are pledging to make some big changes, beginning this year. You can view these initial pledges, here.
With all this said, we’re not naive.
We understand that embracing this approach isn’t a simple a flip of a switch. We understand that our current portfolio does not yet fully convey these principles. We understand that not all of our clients currently align with these values. However, we will be doing our best not just to better inform ourselves, but to move our clients and our projects forward with these essential principles.
So, as we work to realign our strategy and our mission to become more sustainable and socially responsible, please enjoy our new website and the new work we have to share. Be sure to check back soon as we release a slew of new project case studies that are on deck.
A big thanks
