Malt joins veritree in mission to plant 1 billion trees by 2030

In recognition of Earth Day 2024, we’re proud to share that Malt is taking real, verifiable restorative action to put our values into motion by partnering with veritree.

Through this partnership we are planting real, verified trees that support communities, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration. 

Malt is committed to planting 100 trees for every client we work with and 10 trees for every sale made through the Malt Shop. But rather than making this commitment and hoping for the best, by using the veritree platform we’re able to watch as the trees are planted and see the impact they are making on their respective communities and ecosystems.

Our partnership will consist of post-fire planting sites in Oregon as well as tree planting in Rwanda for the 2024 calendar year.

According to veritree, a total investment of up to $8.1 trillion in nature is required by 2050 to meet the world’s climate change, biodiversity and land degradation targets. It is veritree’s mission to plant 1 billion trees by 2030 to help unlock that investment.
