Malt invited to fly flag design for summer exhibit

Malt founder Jack Muldowney was invited by Art Design Chicago to design a flag that for a new pop-up exhibit on July 27.

In partnership with the Terra Foundation for American Art (TFAA), Art Design Chicago invited 75 artists and designers to participate in Flag Feast, a collaboration with the Design Museum of Chicago.

Designers were asked to create flags inspired by Art Design Chicago’s citywide exhibitions highlighting Chicago’s artistic heritage and creative communities, and to consider how Chicago inspires them artistically.

The Flag Feast flags are being exhibited at festivals throughout Chicago this summer, including the Design Museum’s Field Day at Navy Pier (July 27), Taste of Chicago Pop-Up in Pullman Park (August 17), and at the downtown Taste of Chicago in Grant Park (September 7).
